A taste of censorship. China Channel Firefox Add-on

The newest Firefox add-on promises to deliver an almost unique web experience – surfing the net as if you were behind the Great Firewall of China. The add-on works by connecting your machine to a random proxy server inside the PRC. I haven’t tested it yet, but I will as soon as possible, and then post the results on this blog.

Thanks to Ramona Hammer and Joshua Seufert (Julius-Maximilians-Universitaet Wuerzburg) for alerting me to this add-on

Those who want/need to switch between multiple proxy servers may want to have a look at this add-on instead.
